Shoshoni First Baptist Church, has been served faithfully by our current pastor for eighteen years. As he retires, we are looking for a man who is a gifted leader, clearly called by God to effectively preach and teach his Word and move us into our next season of ministry.
Our small, Bible-based church is in central Wyoming, at an intersection formerly known as the “Yellowstone Highway.” Shoshoni’s main industry is farming/ranching, but the school is always looking for substitute teachers. This could be a good supplemental income for our bi-vocational pastor. Our excellent school is located across the street from the church.
Our pastor should understand and thrive in rural culture. They also should enjoy lots of sun, which is the norm for our area. Boysen reservoir is just three miles away. As with all smaller town pastors, it’s important that our leader interact well with the people in the community and see potential in every life.
We’re looking for someone who can motivate us to grab hold of God’s Word and practically apply it in our daily lives.
A pastor marked by a compassionate heart, a zeal for evangelism, and a desire to both reach young people and learn from the wisdom of older members.

There is a one-time $40 fee to cover testing instruments. This fee is tax-deductible as a job search cost. Once a profile is completed, candidates will be eligible to be matched with Shoshoni, and every Converge church across the country utilizing the CPN process.
